' The driving school code of practice' is an agreement made by DSA and main ADI Oragnizations . It emphasises the professional standards and business ethnics.The code mainly includes:
The Training Vehicle in which lessons will take place must be:
- Correctly maintained
- Safe on the road
- Legal for instruction and use
- Well presented and clean
Business Dealings - Our driving instructors should:
- Have safe appropiate poisitions for monies in advance for driving lessons fees, test fees, etc.
- Need to ensure clients are legally entitled to drive their vehicle and own a valid driving licence. (It is the duty of the instructor to ensure their client can read a number plate from a prescribed distance.)
- Make sure their clients presents all required documents and their car is in a correct manner in the event of a driving test.
- Ensure they keep up with their clients progress and advise them to apply for theory and practicaly tests accordingly
- Only cancel and rearrange tests and lessons with client agreement
- Make clear the potential loss of fees if tests are not taken or courses are not completed.
-Ensure all lesson time is dedicated to the pupil and their progress
-Teach clients driving skills as closely as possible to DSA's recommended syllabus.
